neutral milk hotel. this song is one of the ones on the album that i’m reading a book about, in the aeroplane over the sea. i like the album a lot but i’ve never quite understood the complete obsession over it that a lot of people seem to have, but this book is explaining it to me a bit. i still think the idea and the aesthetics of this album create an expectation that i don’t think the album quite matches for me, but i do like it a lot and find myself liking it more as i listen to it more. this is a great, great song. although the video is the unfinished version, i should warn you.
