our aspirations are wrapped up in books

book blog by a teenage girl who does not just read "books written for girls" although obviously she does sometimes.

  1. here’s a photo of me & some other people in christ church, oxford, towards the end of last week. i did a poetry summer school there… it was very brief, but AMAZING, and i wish i wasn’t back home. i really hate ipswich. i know that sounds lame but when i was there i was just like… it’s the most amazing place, i actually do really love it, and ipswich is so dull and dead to me by comparison. i am very excited about going there soon… i might as well state here that yeah, i am going to do english at oxford in just over a month. it’s so exciting.
